The aims of the Group are "To provide the means for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) persons to play tennis". We hope, however, that we do much more than that, and that people can come along to play and improve their tennis in a friendly, relaxed and sociable atmosphere. 

The Group runs weekly tennis sessions at one of our partner venues - Sportcity Manchester, Urmston Tennis Club, Bolton Arena or David Lloyd Trafford - most weekends. 

If you are attending for the first time, send us a message so that we can try to arrange for a committee member or other Northern Acer to welcome you.

The group organises many internal and open tennis tournaments and special events, including our well-established GLTA-sanctioned event.  Group members also frequently travel elsewhere in the UK, as well as overseas, to compete in the many GLTA tournaments held world-wide (see http://glta.net/tour-schedule for details).
